Miranda Family Hospital (MFH) is a 35-bed capacity Secondary Level Hospital located in Surigao City, province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines. It was founded in 1980 and has been recognized by the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Inc. for its over 25 years of commitment to community service through quality health care. It has also been awarded a “Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital” status by the Department of Health.
MFH is one of the biggest non-industrial, non-governmental employers in the area providing employment to over 60 employees, with more than 40 different visiting physicians of various specialties. It offers services in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Radiology. These are complemented by state-of-the-art diagnostic and ancillary services which include a Hemodialysis Unit, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Laparoscopy, and comprehensive laboratory tests for routine and executive check-ups.
Aside from its breadth of clinical expertise, the hotel-like room interiors and comforting ambiance of MFH have also distinguished it from other hospitals in the region.
MFH is accredited by PhilHealth and several HMOs. It also serves as the accrediting hospital for one Nursing school and one Licensed Practical Nursing school in Surigao City.
MFH is currently expanding its capabilities as part of its upgrading plans to Tertiary Level accreditation. |
